Film in Peru participated once again in the Lima Film Festival PUCP
Thanks to coordinated efforts between PROMPERÚ and PUCP, information about the Film in Peru strategy was provided to agents of the national and international audiovisual industry.
For the second consecutive year, Film in Peru was part of the Lima Film Festival PUCP, one of the most recognized platforms in the film and audiovisual industry in our country.
For the 28th edition of the prestigious festival, Film in Peru entered into an alliance with PUCP, which enabled the presence of seven industry professionals—directors, producers, and actors—from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, and the United States to participate in the various scheduled activities.
Additionally, the talk titled “Film in Peru: Unexpected Locations Where All Stories Are Possible” was held. More than 40 attendees, including producers, audiovisual directors, and film industry agents, learned about PROMPERÚ's Film in Peru strategy for promoting our country as a film location destination, as well as the services provided to national and international audiovisual productions that choose to film in the country.
The talk was led by Daniel Córdova, Director of Business Investment Promotion at PROMPERU. After the talk, Film in Peru specialists answered questions posed by the attendees.
Finally, a city tour of Lima's Historic Center and Barranco was organized for a group of national and international audiovisual producers attending the festival, allowing them to explore the streets and learn about the history and culture of these locations.
These promotional activities aimed to increase awareness among more film and audiovisual industry agents about the variety of locations Peru offers and provide access to the services offered by Film in Peru to ensure the most satisfying filming experience in the country.
